Brittany Williston - 2008 Copnick/Hilliard Scholarship winner

The Hilliard Copnick Scholarship will help me to acheive my current goal of
receiving a Bachelor's degree in Science. With a family income that varies
year to year, I can be sure that the financial demands of university do not
weigh heavily on pockets that also have to provide for life necessities.
Costs are constantly rising and some can be unexpected, so this money will
help to make ends meet beyond what has been personally saved or gained
through summer employment. I would like to focus on a future career in
medical research, and give something back to the various communities that
have supported me throughout my education, and funding like this is largely
responsible for bringing me closer to that goal.
