CPA is pleased to offer the Sun Life Financial Peer Support Scholarship in 2008.

Sun Life Financial is a leading financial services company in Canada, with operations in key markets around the world.

The purpose of the peer scholarship is to assist peer volunteers and participants with an SCI or other physical disability to advance their post-secondary education in the disability field. The scholarships are awarded once a year, with grants in 2008 of $1,500. Successful recipients are selected based on academic standing, merit and financial need.

Sun Life Financial recognizes the importance of the scholarship program and the need to assist young people with SCI or other physical disabilities to reach their career goals. The program has benefited many young physically challenged Canadians pursuing their studies.
