MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic Promote Diversity with Annual Scholarships

Now in its third year, the MuchMoreMusic AccessAbility Scholarship, presented in partnership with The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS), awards $5,000 (CDN) to a broadcast student with a permanent disability, who best demonstrates skill, talent, excellence and enthusiasm in pursuing a future in the broadcast industry.

The scholarship goes toward tuition, payable directly to post-secondary educational institution of student's choice.

Adam William Bishop from Shawnigan Lake, BC is a broadcast journalism student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and the 2007 scholarship winner.

Applications for the 2008 MuchMoreMusic AccessAbility Scholarship will be available as of March 1 on muchmoremusic.com, and will be accepted until November 1, 2008.
