On November 22, 2007, Bruce Drewett and David Hinton represented CPA National at the End Exclusion event which attracted over three hundred participants and included speeches by Minister Monte Solberg, Minister James Flaherty and Minister Peter MacKay. Other CPA members in attendance included Tony Dolan and David Shannon. 

The highlight of the event was a gathering at the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill (in Ottawa's first snow storm of the year) where over 100 organizations standing together in partnership and solidarity, including the CPA represented by Bruce, were called upon to express their concerns “of the day”.

The goal of this year's event was to finalize a National Action Plan focusing on Building an Inclusive and Accessible Canada.
