A research study on the experience of paraplegia and autobiographical memory Why is this important? This study is about the effects of paraplegia on the organization of autobiographical memory. We want to understand how unexpected life-altering events, events like paraplegia, affect how people remember memories of their lives before and after the injury. Who can participate? If you or any person you know: · Who is currently older than 18 years old. · AND who has been paraplegic for at least 3 years. Would like to participate in this study. What will you be doing in the study? This study will be a phone interview. You’ll be asking to recall your autobiographical memories and to answer some questions about your life situation before and after injury.
